FAQs

Q: Does Gittleman Construction offer architectural drawings and concepts?

A: Yes! We are a full design-build company offering assistance throughout all phases of construction. From initial planning to design and construction, we have architectural designers who produce concepts, working drawings, and renderings. Our goal is to provide a clear representation of how each renovation or new build will look upon completion.

Q: Do I need a survey?

A: A survey is required for additions, new construction, and detached structures. Interior renovations do not require surveys.

Q: How long does it take for consultation?

A: Consultation takes approximately 1 hour.

Q: What materials should I provide for the consultation?

A: If available and required for the project, please provide the survey and existing house plans or architectural plans for the consultation. In addition, we request a list of renovations needed to determine the preliminary scope of work.

Q: Can I provide my own plans?

A: Yes, you can provide your own plans. If you have access to detailed plans, please email all PDF documents prior to the initial meeting.

Q: Do I need to provide a budget?

A: The target budget is essential in determining whether the scope of work directly correlates to the amount of money set aside for the project. Because of this, we always establish a target budget prior to the initial consultation.
